A stylus is a small pen-shaped tool used to input commands to computer screens, mobile devices, drawing boards, and other devices with a touch screen, allowing users to select documents or draw by tapping the touch screen with the stylus.
Active stylus needs to sense the pressure, tilt angle, azimuth, coordinates and other state information generated when the tip of the pen is in contact with the screen through sensors, and constantly transfer this information to the control chip of the touch screen by means of low-frequency signals to be solved, and ultimately restore the handwriting.

The circuit of the stylus is mainly divided into three parts: Bluetooth wireless communication circuit, pen tip sensing circuit, and wireless charging circuit.The stylus project design of a customer of YXC uses a low-power Bluetooth chip for wireless data transmission, and requires the external connection of a passive crystal with a frequency of 32MHz, external capacitance of 8pF, miniaturization, and high-precision to provide the system with a clock frequency. To meet the customer's project requirements, we recommend the customer to use YXC passive crystal series XL4KI-111-32M, its specifications are as follows:
YXC (Yangxing crystal) introduced passive crystal oscillator XL4KI-111-32M in the stylus has the following characteristics:
① The nominal frequency is 32MHz, which meets the stylus Bluetooth wireless communication circuit design requirements;
② 1.6*1.2*0.35mm SMD package, miniaturized and ultra-thin, suitable for the compact circuit board space of stylus;
③ Normal temperature frequency difference ± 10ppm, high precision to ensure the stability of data transmission, realistic restoration of handwriting;
④Wide temperature operating range, -40~"85℃ industrial grade temperature, to ensure the normal operation of the stylus system;
⑤RoHS compliant, lead-free and green.
