Tokyo Cosmos Electric Co., Ltd. was established in 1957 as an electronic component manufacturer specializing in the production of high quality variable resistors for industrial use. Since then, Tokyo Cosmos has continued to expand its variable resistance (potentiometer) product lineup and began mass production of Angle sensors as automotive electronics in 1976 and automotive film heaters mounted on preventative safety support devices in 2016.
